A small sized, hot growing sympodial epiphyte with flattened pseudobulbs carrying linear, rather leathery, suddenly narrowing to a broad point
leaves that blooms in the fall on a to 15 cm long, to 17 flowered inflorescence.
Ecology
Growing in podosol forests at elevations up to 500 meters.
