Description
A large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with sometimes branching stems carrying many laterally flattened, acute, imbricate, triangular, smaller towards the base leaves that blooms in the late spring on an axillary, short, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.

Ecology
Growing in low stature hill forests at elevations up to 1000 meters.
